Rebecca Barnard is next favourite singer after Kate. I am so happy about this!

  3. leigh says:

Yeah Rebecca Barnard is gonna rip it up for sure! I only wish they had gotten Paul Capsis as well. He performed at the Hobart Fringe festival a few years ago and did THE most stunning version of ‘…Child In His Eyes’.

  4. Brian says:

Rebecca is stunning! Would love Rebecca to tackle This Woman’s Work or Never Be Mine.

  5. Kiki says:

Happy Birthday to one of the best and most influential albums of the 80s. Listening to it now, you can really appreciate how Kate carved her own niche in popular music. She basically created her own genre of art-rock. Even after many imitators, it still sounds fresh and challenging even 30 years on. All in all, quite an achievement.

  6. Woppacombo says:

I saw this show recently down at the Newport Sub-Station Arts Centre in Melbourne and am so thrilled it now makes a reappearance at the Darebin Fringe Festival. Going again, so looking forwards to this rather marvellous tribute to the divine Ms Bush.

  7. Richard Jansson says:

Just saw this show. Absolutely stunning talents on display. Sarah Ward(?) singing This Womans Work was overwhelming…brilliant. Thanks guys.

  8. Chris Gale says:

OMG! The show was excellent. Very high standard – well produced, and amazing talent. Some interpretations of both well known songs and some b sides. Also a playful, camp attitude, withsome hilarious choreography (Sat in your lap anyone?). Thanks for a great night, to Benn Bennett and friends.

  9. AdamD says:

Fantastic tribute in Northcote last night. I was wondering if anyone could give a list of the performers, particularly the name of the performer that sung “THIS WOMAN’S WORK”. Something like Sara Word?

  10. Benn Bennett says:

Thanks for all the lovely comments and for coming to see ‘Up Late With Kate.’ (Adam D the singers name is Sarah Ward. She also performs as a cabaret artist called Yana Alana.)
