Our incredible 2014 in one photograph

Here it is. The moment. 26th August 2014. Kate owns the world musical stage. Vibrant, new, unpredictable, music history, gob-smacking, unexpected, beautiful, magnificent, pure Kate. We were floored. So were you. Thanks for supporting the site and the HomeGround anthologies in 2014. Here is our picture of the year. There are no other words for what she (and Bertie) achieved.

I wish I could have seen her live. 🙁 I know many others missed out too. Waiting for the DVD.

A happy new year to you! Lovely comment on Kate’s comeback to the stage in 2014. Thank you for having kept this site up & alive even at times when Kate had become close to invisible to most of us. I hope 2015 will be another great year for everyone who love Kate’s work.

  3. Great post, Seán.

    What an absolutely breathtaking year.

Does anyone else catch themselves getting flashes of memories of those nights as if it were all part of some incredible dream?

Heartfelt thanks to you and all at Kate Bush News for keeping that little light shining.

I went to the ninth show on the ninth day of the ninth month. I didn’t get to see the Tour of Life in 1979, so BTD made up for it. It was worth the wait, I’ll never forget it.

The power of positive energy. Thank You Kate!

  6. Yes that really DOES sum it up.. I never thought I would see the day… Thank you for the site, I have followed it for forever!
I can tell you that when I moved to this part of the World from Australia, I actually thought, “If Kate Bush ever does a concert, at least I will be on the right side of the ocean!” . That happened, I was there, and now I am still suffering from “Post KT Syndrome” 🙁 Roll on the DVD!
Have a great 2016, and thanks again.

Thanks for all the hard work this year by every one on the site. You must have been on overtime most of this year, which us good for us the fans. And thanks for all the little scraps you dug up during the wilderness years when there was so little to hear.
I hope this year you have even more work to do and I mean that in a nice way, more work more news.

Many thanks for many years work

….well the DVD will, I am sure, capture something of Kate’s live performance. My over-riding feeling about the show was that Kate just seemed so comfortable with herself and her music and her audience… it was a life changing event. Thanks Kate x

    Undeniably the moment of 2014

It’s been a stonkingly rubbish year in many, many ways but Kate made it all worth while.

Seeing Kate live was THE special moment of the year, certainly a very special moment in my
whole life. I still can’t believe I saw her sing live. And the photo says it all 😉

I saw BTD on the 5th September and I still think about it every day. It was one of the highlights of my life let alone year. Kate seemed so comfortable with herself and her voice was wonderful and effortless. According to my friend, I just spent the whole three hours absolutely entranced, I couldn’t quite believe I was actually watching Kate Bush sing live. Thank you to everyone at this website, to all of you and kate- keep it coming!

  13. should we start getting excited about the rumours circulating that Kate will release the Before the dawn DVD on March 30th?
And what about the rumour of the gig in America?
All those things are making me too excited and some ness would help alleviate unnecessary hysteria (i’ve just claimed down following Septembers monumental experience).

Here’s to the Kate, Bertie, the KT Fellowship, and Seán, Peter, Krys, and Dave! You all made it a fabulous year.

(& thank you, by the way, for scrapping the rumour I shamelessly posted here – I temporarily lost my mind;-) and forgot that it might be something better kept under wraps)

  15. Jeova

    I was there!!! Wonderful
