Beck Sian

Krys says: “Beck Sian’s amazing new album is now available. Her voice is even stronger & more beautiful than ever before. Let her take you into secret gardens & haunted hearts…Beck is Kate’s cousin’s daughter, Hannah Bush was her great aunt. She is a dear friend & we love her to bits. This album is just beautiful.”

Beck’s latest news November 2011:

Hello! As we brace ourselves for frost and snow, I have to tell you… I am very excited! 2011 has been a bit of a ‘rest’ year for me, musically, but that’s all over now. I am preparing to record my third full-length CD, called ‘Ye Olde Silent Inn’. I can tell you that it is another themed CD – this time a night-time, ‘up on the moors’, Brontë Country, wraiths, haunted staircases, and highwaymen CD! Among other things, it has been very much influenced by the ghost stories and scenery surrounding The Old Silent Inn at Stanbury, near Haworth . I can tell you that I will record and release ‘Ye Olde Silent Inn’ in 2012, and that I fully intend, and hope, to launch it at The Old Silent Inn at Stanbury!! Oh, I’m SO excited about that!

I’ve been very fortunate this year – there have been some really fun gigs and some great friendships made and I’m so grateful. I had a fabulous private concert arranged by the lovely Steve and Jeri (looking forward to seeing you next year!), and then two nights of brilliant music with Martyn Johnson, Em Sargant, Liz Narey, Jim Pickles, Tony Levy, Andy Wood, David Kidman and more in Stanbury (thanks to all of you for such a special, fun and inspirational few days), and then two amazing concerts with Steve, Sarah and Charlotte of ‘Whalebone’ for Halloween – much spookiness and eeriness ensued, and a special treat – Whalebone performed a few songs with me! Thanks to ‘Whalebone’ for the very special honour, and treasured memories – it was fab!

At the moment I am enjoying listening to: Arcomnia – ‘Star of the Sea’, Liz Narey ‘Lothersdale Waterwheel’ and Whalebone ‘Three Fires’. I am starting to think about Christmas… and with that in mind…

Ho ho ho! It’s time to think about gifts for our loved ones and I’ve come up with a fabulous offer for you – ‘Unfurling’ and ‘Luminous Wings & Unseen Things’ are now only £6.00 each plus postage – that’s an absolute bargain! Also, don’t forget there are 14 copies of ‘Ethereal’ left (only £4.00 plus postage!!) and new full-colour A4 signed gig posters for only £1.00 plus postage. Brilliant prices, great value and unique music!!”

I’ll be in touch again soon, with more news about the new CD. In the meantime, thanks so much for listening,

Best wishes & sparkles,

Beck Siàn xxx
