Cabaret vs Cancer is a grant based charity that sends money where it is needed, to a number of other charities, including hospices and other support services to help people dealing with the effects of cancer. They raise money via live events, including brilliant Kate Bush themed shows, plus David Bowie, Twin Peaks, Star Wars, Doctor Who and others at various venues across London.
They also run a series of annual online auctions, including the music auction (check it out online here). Now in its 6th year, Kate has donated signed items every year (!), and the auction has raised more than £25K for CvC. Dave Cross from HomeGround is a Patron of the charity and organiser of the auction, he tells us;
