Wow!! What a huge number or articles all devoted to Kate! It’s as though the world has discovered a diamond it never knew it had, albeit, quite a few of us already saw her sparkling…. I would love to know what Kate thinks of it…. whether she’s bemused by the reaction, or a bit surprised, or will begin to find it overwhelming, possibly, as I assume the press would love to speak to her now.

Ooh and I forgot to comment and say thank you for the work in collating all the articles together. A true labour of love, which is appreciated 😊

She’s an amazing artist just love her music and so glad its getting airplay again.

I met Kate outside the Hammersmith Odeon in 1979 and it was blatantly obvious that she was uncomfortable with the notoriety. I’m sure she will be viewing this from a sort of bitter sweet perspective as she always disliked having to do interviews and this catapults her back into the mainstream media attention from which she often withdrew from.

But this opportunity to engage with millions of new fans and to capture their hearts and minds must be seen as extremely valuable to her and not so much in the monetary perspective but in the fact that it’s a measure of personal reward for the years of dedicated and passionate work she has poured into her craft that has made her a true icon of our times.
